A little stress relief

I've had a busy week and I was just dying to create, but I was tired and worn out and my work station seemed overwhelming. So I grabbed a piece of white cardstock and started to punch out shapes. I stamped in noir palette ink using the Santa from Everyday Events onto several tags. I then colored in the image with watercolors using my Aquaflow pens. Ahh, nothing like a little simple coloring at the end of a long day. Now I can keep these little guys in mind for another project.

cut out card

This card is really fairly simple and quick to make. Take your card base measuring 4.25 by 11 and fold in half. Cut a rectangular piece of pattered paper measuring 4 by 5.25 adhere to the top. Punch a circle in the card front holding your punch at the top of the card making sure it is centered. Stamp flowers from Everyday events in noir black and color with watercolor pencils using the Dove blender. Cut a strip of white 5.25 by 1 and stamp warm wishes in noir palette ink. Pierce the ends before adhering over the patterned paper.

Everyday Events, Camping, Mini Occasions

This is the third card from a recent workshop. This card uses the Stamp sets Everyday Events T-2751 $21.95 and Camping T-2654 $21.95 as well as Mini Occasions. Camping? Yes Camping. The detail on the bottom of the card is a set of trees from the camping set. It uses Noir Black Palettet ink and Lavender Sachet Palette ink available in the Degas ink four pack. The image is colored with watercolor crayons and pencils and the Dove Blender, I love the Dove Blender! The tag is from a free download go to downloads at http://www.theangelcompany.net to get your own tags. Have fun papercrafting!
